The Invisibles has gone to the editor. Now I need your opinion.

This is a dummy book cover. I will be asking the wonderful Sanja Gombar to create a much better one when the book is released. Also the title may or may not change.

It has been a long time coming. As much as I’d like to be, I am not one of those writers who does everything fast.

I am the exact opposite.

Also, I realized that the first book in the series after the novella needed to be written straight away.

So, I have also written the novel (50K words), and it will go to the editor in about a week from now.

Now the real work begins.

The editor will do her thing and psychoanalyze every part of it, and then she’ll tell me how to make it better. I will send her the novel in about a week.

The novella is a 17K word reverse harem, built around this premise, and it will be going into Kindle Unlimited exclusively. So I expect most of you will have the opportunity to read it when it is finished.

The novel, which follows directly on from the novella, will be released soon after that. I am hoping to release it a week afterward, but we will see how we go with the editing.

Good editing can’t be rushed. Some people think it can be, but it can’t. I don’t want to release something that isn’t ready.

But as well as the editor’s opinion, I am looking for ten readers to read the unedited version of the novella and the novel to give me their opinions.

The reader who gives me the best feedback (not necessarily favorable, but the most helpful feedback), will receive this set of cards. Yes, they’ve been sitting on my desk for a while now.

There is a lot of fun and fantasy: five adorable dragon shifter firemen and one lusty Fire Witch.

Both the novella and the novel include scenes of wildfire.

At the moment, I’m see-sawing between The Invisibles and The Firebreathers for the title of the novella.

On the publishing schedule at the Goodreads forum, I referred to the novella as The Firebreathers. But the cover above shows the title as The Invisibles.

They are the same story, but as you can see, I am torn between the two titles.

A little bit later on, closer to publication release, I’ll be asking you about which title you like.

What do I mean by feedback on the Unedited Version?

I am not asking you to edit grammar or do a structural edit. I employ professional editors for this.

I want to know whether I am producing something you will enjoy.

If you think that you’d like to read both or one of the books and give me feedback, please comment below or at the Goodreads reader forum.

Some of you are already on my list of readers who will receive the novella. There are eight spots left.

I will be releasing both books through Bookfunnel separately. I will ask you to do this twenty question survey after you’ve read the book. You can also send me an e-mail if you feel it necessary.

You can do the survey now, to see what it is like, if you want. I’ll reset the responses after the 12 March.

I will need your feedback within a week of you having received the book(s).Β If you think you might be too busy, not to worry, there will be another book after this.

Please indicate in your comment here or at Goodreads whether you’d like to read both the novella and the novel or just one or the other. I’ll put you on the respective list.

I’ll be sending out the beta versions next Monday, 12 March 2019.
